    It’s Snack Time!

Who loves a great snack? I know I do! Especially if it’s healthy and one I can feel good about eating. Since I tried the whey protein from Plexus last year, I have loved finding as many ways as I can to incorporate it to my day outside of the usual shake. (Although, they’re delicious!) From pancakes and waffles to pumpkin breakfast bars, the options are endless! One of my most favorite and easiest ways to have it is in these protein bites. They’re sweet + salty and a cleaner, healthier option to a granola bar. I try and make a batch each week and leave them in the fridge to grab and go.

As much as I would LOVE to, I can’t take credit for this recipe. This was shared to me by one of my sweet Plexus friends and I am happy to share it with you!

    Protein Bites

1 cup oats (I use Quaker Old Fashioned Oats)

    1/3 cup honey

1 cup nut butter (I use Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter)

1/2 cup of lean (you can use vanilla or chocolate)

    Chocolate Chips (optional)

Mix all ingredients together until combined and form into balls. I use a small ice cream scoop so that they are all the same size. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week!
